Does applying affect my credit score? Medicard uses a soft credit check to pre-qualify you, which does not appear on your credit report or affect your score.

A hard credit check only happens if you move forward and formally accept a loan offer.

How much can I finance?

Medicard loans typically range from $500 up to $25,000+, depending on the treatment and your approval.

How long does approval take?

Most applicants get a decision in minutes. The online application takes about 5 minutes to complete.

What are the repayment terms?

Terms generally range from 12 to 72 months, with fixed monthly payments. You choose the payment amount and timeline that fits your budget.

Is there a penalty for paying it off early?

No. You can pay off your Medicard balance at any time with no prepayment penalty.
